Advanced signature support
Thanks to the CUTE electronic signature modules – CUTE CAdES, CUTE XAdES, and CUTE PAdES – you can easily use the major electronic signature formats, from the most elementary to the most advanced: CAdES, XAdES, and PAdES.

The CUTE MSS module allows you to delegate the whole management to Unicity MSS.
CUTE CAdES
Beyond the elementary signature format CMS, this module allows to format CAdES signatures - CMS Advanced Electronic Signatures.
Compliant with the CAdES standard version 1.7.4 (and the future version 1.8.1), it handles CAdES-BES, CAdES-EPES, and CAdES-T formats.
CUTE CAdES brings along the following advanced signature functionalities:
- Raw document signatures.
- Co-signatures: several signatures of the same document.
- Countersignatures: signatures of signature.
CUTE XAdES
Beyond the elementary signature format XMLDsig, this module allows to format XAdES signatures - XML Advanced Electronic Signatures.
Compliant with the XAdES standard version 1.2.2 and 1.3.2, it handles XAdES-BES, XAdES-EPES, and XAdES-T formats.
CUTE XAdES brings along the following advanced signature functionalities:
- Raw and XML document signatures.
- Co-signatures: several signatures of the same document.
- Countersignatures: signatures of signature.
- Multiple signatures: signatures of several documents.
CUTE PAdES
Beyond the elementary signature format PDF or PDF/A-1, this module allows to format PAdES signatures - PDF Advanced Electronic Signatures.
Compliant with parts 1,2, 3 and 4 of the PAdES standard version 1.1.1, it handles PAdES-BES and PAdES-EPES formats.
CUTE PAdES brings along the following advanced signature functionalities:
- Raw PDF signature format, compliant with the ISO 32000-1 standard.
- Author signature: certification signature.
- Recipient signature: approval signature.
