Eternity is a stand-alone server that handles everything, from incoming connection to actual timestamp from the internal clock. We have worked hard to reduce the number of layers and optimize each of them to offer the highest performances. You will literally be able to go almost as fast as your HSM can go.
Unless you use fiber, you will most likely be limited by your network connection speed before being limited by Eternity.
Actually it is even faster
Need to timestamp a volume about 100 million large documents in one day? A timestamp server is a critical part of a trust architecture which should offer a high availability rate.
To provide high availability and scalability, Eternity can easily be installed in a cluster.
At this speed though, just be careful not to run out of disk space for the event journal!
