Perennity is fast
Perennity is a stand-alone server that handles everything, from incoming connection to actual archiving. We have worked hard to reduce the number of layers and optimize each of them to offer the highest performances.
Thanks to the ERS format implementation, Perennity is able to manage a great deal of documents at the same time, by gathering them into "trees" and requiring one unique timestamping token for all of them.
Unless you use fiber, you will most likely be limited by your network connection speed before being limited by Perennity.
Actually it is even faster
Need to archive about 100 million large invoices in a single day?
No problem, just install several Perennity in a cluster and use the provided integration library or the expert Web Services API to delegate some simple preprocessing to the client and drastically reduce network transmissions.
At this speed though, just be careful not to run out of disk space for the event journal!
