Stand-alone server
Perennity can be operated on any operating system with a Java Virtual Machine and needs no third application server.
All the components of the server are gathered within one package: no need to install third part libraries or funny configuration files. One tiny text file is enough to set up a ready-to-configure server with the graphic interface.
The easy-and-quick installation steps are detailed in the Installation and administration guide: the graphic interface will then save you time and energy!
Intuitive GUI administration tool
Every (yes, every really) operation in Perennity triggers the creation of an entry in the event journal.
Server start, or stop, any parameter modification, every archiving creation or update request, successful or not, signature validation or timestamp service creation, etc. Each entry contains comprehensive details about the corresponding operation.
Actually, you can literally "replay" the whole life of your archiving server from installation to current day. If you need to look up specific information, entries can be searched and viewed from the administration GUI.
And if you need data for your statistics, just export them in CSV from the GUI or search and retrieve them through our Web Services interfaces and turn them into reports and charts.
