Seamless integration
Perennity aims at making integration easy and stressfree. An archiving server will typically need to interact with a number of other services like timestamp authorities and signature validation services.
Integration with trust service providers
The archiving maintenance needs the use of one or more timestamp authorities and a signature validation service.
Thanks to our fanatical standard compliance, Perennity can interact with any timestamp service, like the timestamp server Eternity, and with any validation service, like Serenity.
All these operations can be performed through the rich graphical user interface in a matter of clicks.
Communication between an archiving server and trust services becomes so smooth...
Web services communication interfaces
Do you need to perform an archiving from your .NET or Java based corporate application server? Or from your Python, Perl or PHP web application?
Every operation in Perennity can easily be performed through Web Services (both in SOAP and XML-RPC) and can therefore be easily called from any programming language.
And to make integration even easier, two levels of API are provided: one that only requires a few lines of code for simple cases and an extended one for more complex scenarios.
Every possibility is described in detail in a comprehensive integration guide, including examples and code samples to get you started. And if you happen to have Java based tools, there is also a very simple integration library in Java that can be integrated in your applications.
Stop wasting months trying to add long-term archiving in your applications, just let the Perennity integration manual be your guide, and finalize a clean integration in a few days.
