Fanatical standard compliance
When validating electronic signature, it is of utmost importance to be able to use material provided by third parties and to validate signatures provided by any implementation.
Serenity answers to Cryptolog's constant promise of fanatical standard compliance.
Elementary and advanced signature formats
Serenity allows painless validation of the major signature formats, compliant with the latest versions of international standards: CMS and CAdES, XMLDsig and XAdES, PDF and PAdES.
Whatever the signature format, Cryptolog has developed the security levels defined by standards, from the basic ones (BES and EPES) to the addition of a timestamping token (ES-T for CAdES and XAdES, ES-LTV for PAdES).
Regarding CAdES and XAdES, Serenity supports also extension to all the higher security levels: -C, -X, -XL, -XL1, -XL2, -XT1, -XT2, and -A.
Serenity is already compliant with the new PAdES standard, published by ETSI in September 2009.
Serenity is able to extend PAdES signatures with the PAdES-LTV (Long Term Validation) format described in the part 4 of the standard.
Import signature policies
The management of signature policies are the core of a validation server. Serenity allows to easily import and manage signature policies, see the section Flexible validation policies.
